Last week you may have caught my very festive preview of the iconic Harrods Luxury Hampers, at their Winter Showcase event, held at the glorious Four Seasons Hotel, London. If not, you can catch up [HERE].
Due to the sheer impact of elegance and thought that went into the event, I didn’t really take you into specific detail of everything else going on aside from the hampers (because come on, they’re a feature all of their own!), however I must. I really must.
Live London at its finest with your choice of two world-class luxury hotels – Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane and Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square. From a glass-walled rooftop spa – an urban retreat at the heart of Mayfair – to sumptuous dining in London’s most historic area, we are here to ensure every part of stay, whether for business or leisure, remains extraordinary – Four Seasons, London
Arriving at Four Seasons, London.
The evening began with an invitation to the second floor of the hotel, to join the rest of the Winter Showcase guests in the Ballroom. Extremely fitting venue, right? Gorgeous.
On entering the Ballroom foyer, we were warmly greeted by the event managers, and handed our ID badges. The room was flooded with a warm, red décor, and light. Perfect for stirring those festive feels as a huge, bow adorned Christmas tree stood proud centre stage.
Waiting staff were weaving the crowds offering delicious canapés, cocktails, champagne, and service. No one was going hungry or thirsty in any way at all! My personal favourite offerings were the watermelon bites, and chicken wraps. Delicious. I also thoroughly enjoyed my raspberry mocktail too!
Before long, our PR representative from Harrods found both Lloyd and I, whilst we happily started capturing the gorgeous surroundings, and offered us really friendly and informative conversation on what to expect from the evening, and the products of interest (Oh yes…THOSE Hampers!! Love).
Guerlain scent sampling using perfumed fans! Beautiful!
Entering the Ballroom itself, we were instantly silenced at the incredible detail of the occasion, and everything displayed.
Running centre was a long banquet table bathed in Christmas candles, festive foliage, with places set for those with the most divine taste in designer fashion and accessories.
Shoes by Giuseppe Zanotti, handbags (my favourite) by the impeccable Alexander McQueen – I just couldn’t get enough!
Mannequins circled the parameter clothed in ball gown finery, and pristine tailoring too.
Hugging the walls stood the stars of the show, the Luxury Christmas Hampers, for all of us to gaze at and feast on, not only with our eyes, but the offerings of gorge worthy samples were by the plenty.
All butter biscuits, cheese and meat platters, salmon, preserves, it really was like Christmas had arrived in every shape and form for us all in a single, spectacular space.
In addition to celebrating the finery around us, the event was also a wonderful reason to network with other creators and business men and women around us.
A fun feature was the #mycswish activity, where we were invited to write our most desired “wish” from the event onto a Christmas tag, so it could be a hamper, a pair of shoes – anything which catches your eye, along with our business cards. The tag and card were then hung on the Ballroom foyer Christmas tree in order for the lucky winner of their “wish” at a later date. Such a wonderful idea! A very generous one too.

It’s literally like I’ve come to enjoy TWO Christmases this year. I adored it! Thank you so much for the invitation, Harrods! I hope we can celebrate again together soon.
