Midway through September and we’re no longer going to sleep in that June/July heatwave. Instead we’re browsing cosy pyjamas, comfy knits, and cute coats in anticipation of the transition from summer to autumn.
It’s one of my favourite times of year for colour and clothing, so I’m excited to share some new oufit looks with you as we continue through the weeks and months ahead.
Green “Paper bag” style straight leg trousers | Zara [SHOP]
The air is cool enough right now for needing long sleeves to feel comfortable outdoors, however Iove how an overcoat isn’t essential yet. Don’t forget to get the suede protector out though, because those impromptu downpours are all the more frequent now too.
I hope the “paper bag” and “bow waist” trend doesn’t die off any time soon. I love the cut of these types of trousers, sitting way up on the waist, whilst being comfortable, flattering, and chic on the legs. They’re a great bit of added length perception for us shorter girls too!
Greens, creams, and burgundy are my favourite colours of Autumn/Winter, along with warm mustards, taupe and blues. They keep colour in the darker seasons, remaining fun and individual, whilst maintaining warmth and smart luxury.
